Welcome to Tim Brion's State Farm Agent online profile! With over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, I am dedicated to serving the residents of Bethlehem, PA and the surrounding areas. As a long-time resident of the Lehigh Valley, I understand the unique needs and challenges faced by the community.
Education and Community Involvement: I am a proud graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where I earned my B.A. degree. My wife, Karen, is also deeply rooted in the area, having graduated from both The University of Pittsburgh and Moravian College. Together, we have three wonderful children - Jack, Sam, and Kate - and a lovable dog named Matilda (Mattie).
In addition to my professional work, I am actively involved in various local organizations. I serve as an Assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 519 and support the Emmaus Hornet Takedown Club, The Arc of Lehigh & Northampton Counties, BASD Calypso Elementary School, the Foundation For The Bethlehem Area School District, and the Latino Leadership Alliance of the Lehigh Valley.
Language Skills and Designation: During my time as a Rotary Club exchange student in Venezuela, and prior to joining State Farm I had the opportunity to work for several years in Mexico and Central America. These opportunities provided me with the ability to become fluent in Spanish. This language proficiency allows me to better serve the diverse community we have here in Bethlehem.
Insurance Services: At my office, we take great pride in offering a wide range of insurance services to meet your needs. Whether it's auto insurance, homeowner's insurance, renter's insurance, or life insurance, we are here to provide personalized guidance and protection. Our goal is to help you navigate through the complexities of insurance and plan for a secure future.
I am excited about the opportunity to assist you with your insurance and financial service needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or my dedicated team. We are here to provide you with exceptional service and support.
Office News & Updates: Fall has officially arrived, and this is my absolute favorite time of year! While I am not a huge fan of pumpkin spice, I do love the cooler temperatures, football, and getting out into the Pennsylvania Wilds! By the way Bethlehem's Oktoberfest starts this weekend at SteelStacks. State Farm will be there, and I will be attending October 4th. Hope to see you all there!
As we head into Fall here are some suggestions to help you prepare:
Clean Gutters and Downspouts: Remove leaves, debris, and other build-up from your gutters and downspouts. This will help prevent clogging and ensure proper water drainage during the fall and winter months.
Inspect and Clean the Chimney: If you have a fireplace or wood-burning stove, hire a professional chimney sweep to inspect and clean your chimney. This will remove any creosote buildup and ensure safe operation during the colder months.
Check and Replace Weatherstripping: Inspect the weatherstripping around windows and doors for any signs of wear or damage. Replace worn-out weatherstripping to keep cold drafts out and improve energy efficiency in your home.
Seal Gaps and Cracks: Inspect your home's exterior for any gaps or cracks that could let cold air in or allow heat to escape. Use caulk or weatherproofing sealant to seal these gaps and keep your home well-insulated.
Service Your Heating System: Schedule a professional HVAC technician to service your heating system, including cleaning or replacing filters, checking the thermostat, and ensuring proper operation. This will help prevent breakdowns and ensure your home stays warm and comfortable during the winter.
Test Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors: Replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and test them to ensure they are functioning properly. These devices are crucial for your family's safety.
Prepare Outdoor Plumbing: Drain and disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior faucets, and insulate exposed pipes to prevent freezing and potential damage during the winter.
Inspect and Clean the Roof: Check your roof for any loose or damaged shingles, and clean off any debris or moss. This will help prevent leaks and extend the lifespan of your roof.
Trim Trees and Shrubs: Trim any overhanging branches or dead limbs that could potentially cause damage to your home during winter storms.
Clean and Store Outdoor Furniture: Clean and properly store your outdoor furniture, cushions, and other accessories to protect them from winter weather and prolong their lifespan.
